Visiting Walt Disney's Hollywood Mansion - An amazing wonder... the first Disneyland!
Is Walt Disney's Storybook Mansion haunted? There's only one way to find out, by taking a rare and exclusive haunted history tour! Walt Disney's Woking Way estate is still very much a private residence, but a lucky few people each year are allowed to join private tours of the home, and during the Halloween Season, the tours have a paranormal theme as they tell the haunted history of the area and the residents of the home Walt Disney built
While these rare tours are happening I had the privilege of wandering the estate and spending the afternoon and evening at the Disney Mansion in Los Feliz, looking out over Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles, and seeing the playhouse Walt had built for his daughters Diane and Sharon - the storybook style "seven dwarfs cottage" that was the first themed building Walt had built to make children happy.... truly the first Disneyland!!
