Sundown on Route 66 - Daggett Ruins and Calico signs
Sundown falls over Route 66 in Daggett, California - right as the Mother Road approaches its 100th anniversary. In this Randomland episode, we explore a place where railroad history, mining dreams, and fading roadside Americana all collide at the edge of the Mojave Desert.
We visit the historic Stone Hotel, the Thistle Store, the site of the long-lost Daggett Saloon, and the old Daggett Garage - remnants of a once-busy desert town shaped by the railroad and the boom of nearby Calico.
There’s a stop at the mysterious Russian House, a walk along the railroad tracks that made Daggett a vital hub, and a look at the Old West history that still lingers in the dust. Just up the road, Calico Ghost Town has made a controversial change - replacing its classic historic signage with new versions that have visitors talking.
With the Route 66 centennial approaching, places like Daggett feel more important than ever - fragile pieces of history still standing as the sun goes down on a century of America’s most legendary highway.

Actually, the immediate history of this area starts with Daget itself because of

easier for prospectors to go up into

easier for prospectors to go up into them their hills and find the silver in

them their hills and find the silver in

the late 1880s. And of course, as you can imagine, Dagot became the main sort
1:24

of transportation hub for the mines,

kind of a support town here for the
1:29
kind of a support town here for the silver mining and the borax. And anyway,
1:32
silver mining and the borax. And anyway,
1:32
silver mining and the borax. And anyway, later on, when the first automobile
1:34
later on, when the first automobile
1:34
later on, when the first automobile trail started coming through the area,
1:36
trail started coming through the area,
1:36
trail started coming through the area, paralleling the railroad tracks, you
1:37
paralleling the railroad tracks, you
1:38
paralleling the railroad tracks, you have the National Old Trails Highway,
1:40
have the National Old Trails Highway,
1:40
have the National Old Trails Highway, which we're standing right next to,
1:41
which we're standing right next to,

which we're standing right next to, which became Route 66 in 1926.

which became Route 66 in 1926. And often dagot gets skipped over on a

And often dagot gets skipped over on a Route 66 trip because if you're going
1:51
Route 66 trip because if you're going

Route 66 trip because if you're going east to west, right, if you're starting
1:52
east to west, right, if you're starting
1:52
east to west, right, if you're starting in Chicago and going to LA, you are
1:55
in Chicago and going to LA, you are
1:55
in Chicago and going to LA, you are almost there by the time you get to this
1:57
almost there by the time you get to this
1:57
almost there by the time you get to this point in the desert. A lot of people
1:59
point in the desert. A lot of people
1:59
point in the desert. A lot of people skip over it for that reason. And of
2:01
skip over it for that reason. And of
2:01
skip over it for that reason. And of course, if you're coming from west to
2:02
course, if you're coming from west to
2:02
course, if you're coming from west to east like I'm doing today, you're like,
2:04
east like I'm doing today, you're like,
2:04
east like I'm doing today, you're like, I just want to get out there. I want to
2:05
I just want to get out there. I want to
2:05
I just want to get out there. I want to get out to the open road. And Dagot's
2:07
get out to the open road. And Dagot's
2:07
get out to the open road. And Dagot's kind of easy to skip. But there's
2:08
kind of easy to skip. But there's
2:08
kind of easy to skip. But there's actually quite a lot of history kind of
2:10
actually quite a lot of history kind of
2:10
actually quite a lot of history kind of hiding out here in Daget. Most of it
2:13
hiding out here in Daget. Most of it
2:13
hiding out here in Daget. Most of it down there in the old downtown along the
2:15
down there in the old downtown along the
2:15
down there in the old downtown along the railroad tracks having to do with the
2:16
railroad tracks having to do with the
2:16
railroad tracks having to do with the mining. There's some ghost tracks from
2:19
mining. There's some ghost tracks from
2:19
mining. There's some ghost tracks from the trains that would come down from
2:21
the trains that would come down from
2:21
the trains that would come down from Calico itself. You have 20 mule borax
2:24
Calico itself. You have 20 mule borax

team history. All kinds of history in
2:26
team history. All kinds of history in Dagot here alongside Route 66. The
2:28
Dagot here alongside Route 66. The
2:28

history actually goes back more than just a 100red years since Route 66 got
2:32
just a 100red years since Route 66 got
2:32
just a 100red years since Route 66 got its assigned number. This portion of the
2:34
its assigned number. This portion of the
2:34
its assigned number. This portion of the highway built parallel to the railroad

highway built parallel to the railroad

highway built parallel to the railroad tracks was originally the National Old

automotive route through the desert
2:43
automotive route through the desert here. So, not only does this portion of
2:45
here. So, not only does this portion of
2:45
here. So, not only does this portion of highway actually slightly predate Route

highway actually slightly predate Route

3:03
the gingerbread house. I've heard a lot

the gingerbread house. I've heard a lot of different names. This is truly one of
3:04
of different names. This is truly one of

3:58
much more frequent stops in the desert.

the yard. That is amazing right there though. Some encouraging news for calico
9:39
though. Some encouraging news for calico
9:39
though. Some encouraging news for calico lovers. They have preserved the old
9:43
lovers. They have preserved the old
9:43
lovers. They have preserved the old prospectors. By the way, before we drive
9:45
prospectors. By the way, before we drive
9:45
prospectors. By the way, before we drive away from the Russian house, I should
9:46
away from the Russian house, I should
9:46
away from the Russian house, I should mention that as far as I could figure
9:48
mention that as far as I could figure
9:48
mention that as far as I could figure out, it was still held by a private
9:51
out, it was still held by a private
9:51
out, it was still held by a private owner. I mean, it was a private
9:52
owner. I mean, it was a private
9:52
owner. I mean, it was a private residence basically after World War II
9:54
residence basically after World War II
9:54
residence basically after World War II and forever and ever uh was just sitting
9:56
and forever and ever uh was just sitting
9:56
and forever and ever uh was just sitting here. But obviously, you can see a lot
9:57
here. But obviously, you can see a lot
9:57
here. But obviously, you can see a lot of restoration work. A lot of that I
9:59
of restoration work. A lot of that I
9:59
of restoration work. A lot of that I know was done with National Park Service
10:02
know was done with National Park Service
10:02
know was done with National Park Service grants or had something or they at least
10:03
grants or had something or they at least
10:03
grants or had something or they at least applied for them. And so from the little
10:05
applied for them. And so from the little
10:05
applied for them. And so from the little bit of information that I could find out
10:07
bit of information that I could find out
10:07
bit of information that I could find out looking this up the other day, um I
10:09
looking this up the other day, um I
10:09
looking this up the other day, um I believe the eventual plan is for it to
10:11
believe the eventual plan is for it to
10:12
believe the eventual plan is for it to be owned by the Daget Historical Society
10:14
be owned by the Daget Historical Society
10:14
be owned by the Daget Historical Society or run as a museum. When that's going to
10:16
or run as a museum. When that's going to
10:16
or run as a museum. When that's going to happen, I don't know, but fingers
10:17
happen, I don't know, but fingers
10:17
happen, I don't know, but fingers crossed. Hopefully it happens soon cuz I
10:19
crossed. Hopefully it happens soon cuz I
10:19
crossed. Hopefully it happens soon cuz I would love to get inside of this
10:21
would love to get inside of this
10:21
would love to get inside of this building that I've been looking at on
10:22
building that I've been looking at on
10:22
building that I've been looking at on and off my whole life coming out here
10:23
and off my whole life coming out here
10:24
and off my whole life coming out here for Boy Scout camping trips and
10:25
for Boy Scout camping trips and
10:25
for Boy Scout camping trips and everything else. Anyway, yeah, some
10:26
everything else. Anyway, yeah, some
10:26
everything else. Anyway, yeah, some people say it was built in 1926 because
10:29
people say it was built in 1926 because
10:29
people say it was built in 1926 because that is when Route 66 was actually named
10:32
that is when Route 66 was actually named
10:32
that is when Route 66 was actually named and this road became a part of Route 66.
10:34
and this road became a part of Route 66.
10:34
and this road became a part of Route 66. Others say 1922, which is much more
10:37
Others say 1922, which is much more
10:37
Others say 1922, which is much more believable because that's when the
10:38
believable because that's when the
10:38
believable because that's when the National Old Trails Road was coming out
10:40
National Old Trails Road was coming out
10:40
National Old Trails Road was coming out here and they built the inspection
10:41
here and they built the inspection
10:41
here and they built the inspection station. So, I trust the 1922 date. I
10:44
station. So, I trust the 1922 date. I
10:44
station. So, I trust the 1922 date. I just wanted to mention that in case you
10:45
just wanted to mention that in case you
10:45
just wanted to mention that in case you ever see a 1926 date, it's it's much
10:47
ever see a 1926 date, it's it's much
10:47
ever see a 1926 date, it's it's much easier for people to assume. Ah, Route
10:49
easier for people to assume. Ah, Route
10:49
easier for people to assume. Ah, Route 66, 1926. So, everything along it is
10:51
66, 1926. So, everything along it is
10:51
66, 1926. So, everything along it is only as old as 1926. But actually, we're
10:54
only as old as 1926. But actually, we're
10:54
only as old as 1926. But actually, we're going to go across the tracks over here
10:56
going to go across the tracks over here
10:56
going to go across the tracks over here while we still can. I can see another
10:58
while we still can. I can see another
10:58
while we still can. I can see another train on the way and show you something
11:00
train on the way and show you something
11:00
train on the way and show you something that far predates the mother road. And
11:04
that far predates the mother road. And
11:04
that far predates the mother road. And the inspection station goes all the way
11:05
the inspection station goes all the way
11:05
the inspection station goes all the way back to when they first laid the
11:07
back to when they first laid the
11:07
back to when they first laid the railroad tracks here in Daget. Just
11:09
railroad tracks here in Daget. Just
11:09
railroad tracks here in Daget. Just right across the tracks along Santa Fe
11:11
right across the tracks along Santa Fe
11:11
right across the tracks along Santa Fe Avenue where you can see a lot of old
11:12

11:15
structures, a lot of old houses, and the
11:15
structures, a lot of old houses, and the current desert market up here, the
11:17
current desert market up here, the
11:17
current desert market up here, the little liquor store that is still open
11:20
little liquor store that is still open
11:20
little liquor store that is still open to the public. And here it is, literally
11:22
to the public. And here it is, literally
11:22
to the public. And here it is, literally staring at the railroad tracks from just
11:25
staring at the railroad tracks from just
11:25
staring at the railroad tracks from just across the old front street, the old
11:27
across the old front street, the old

across the old front street, the old Santa Fe Avenue, the old dagged stone
11:32
Santa Fe Avenue, the old dagged stone
11:32
Santa Fe Avenue, the old dagged stone hotel. And not just a stone hotel, you
11:34
hotel. And not just a stone hotel, you
11:34
hotel. And not just a stone hotel, you can see an old sort of general store
11:36
can see an old sort of general store
11:36
can see an old sort of general store next door to it on the left. And then a
11:37
next door to it on the left. And then a
11:37
next door to it on the left. And then a mysterious gap on the right. Well, I
11:39
mysterious gap on the right. Well, I
11:39
mysterious gap on the right. Well, I happen to have an old postcard here. And
11:42
happen to have an old postcard here. And
11:42
happen to have an old postcard here. And you can see that once upon a time there
11:44
you can see that once upon a time there
11:44
you can see that once upon a time there was actually another building just to
11:47
was actually another building just to
11:47
was actually another building just to the right here. It constituted a whole
11:48
the right here. It constituted a whole
11:48
the right here. It constituted a whole kind of commercial strip. The original
11:52
kind of commercial strip. The original
11:52
kind of commercial strip. The original commercial strip out here in Daget. And
11:55
commercial strip out here in Daget. And
11:55
commercial strip out here in Daget. And the building that was over here on the
11:57
the building that was over here on the
11:57
the building that was over here on the right, my left, your right, was
11:58
right, my left, your right, was
11:58
right, my left, your right, was originally the old saloon and pool hall.
12:02
originally the old saloon and pool hall.
12:02
originally the old saloon and pool hall. The den of iniquity here for Dagot. This
12:05
The den of iniquity here for Dagot. This
12:05
The den of iniquity here for Dagot. This was, of course, the stone hotels I just
12:07
was, of course, the stone hotels I just
12:07
was, of course, the stone hotels I just mentioned. And then I believe this was
12:09
mentioned. And then I believe this was
12:09
mentioned. And then I believe this was always a little general store off to the
12:11
always a little general store off to the
12:11
always a little general store off to the left. I've sometimes heard people call
12:12
left. I've sometimes heard people call
12:12
left. I've sometimes heard people call that the thistle general store. I don't
12:14
that the thistle general store. I don't
12:14
that the thistle general store. I don't know if that's true. I've never had the
12:15
know if that's true. I've never had the
12:15
know if that's true. I've never had the pleasure of coming out and exploring
12:17
pleasure of coming out and exploring
12:17
pleasure of coming out and exploring Dagot with an expert, with somebody who
12:19
Dagot with an expert, with somebody who
12:19
Dagot with an expert, with somebody who really knew their stuff. But I do know
12:21
really knew their stuff. But I do know
12:21
really knew their stuff. But I do know enough to know that this stone hotel was
12:23
enough to know that this stone hotel was
12:23
enough to know that this stone hotel was at one time a twostory structure. So you
12:25
at one time a twostory structure. So you
12:26
at one time a twostory structure. So you had your main uh lobby downstairs,
12:28
had your main uh lobby downstairs,
12:28
had your main uh lobby downstairs, probably a restaurant of its own, and
12:30
probably a restaurant of its own, and
12:30
probably a restaurant of its own, and then upstairs a lot of lodging rooms and
12:32
then upstairs a lot of lodging rooms and
12:32
then upstairs a lot of lodging rooms and then uh various fires, earthquakes,
12:35
then uh various fires, earthquakes,
12:35
then uh various fires, earthquakes, different things have made sure that
12:37
different things have made sure that
12:37
different things have made sure that that is not the case today. And in fact,
12:38
that is not the case today. And in fact,
12:38
that is not the case today. And in fact, just behind the fence over here, in
12:40
just behind the fence over here, in
12:40
just behind the fence over here, in front of where the old saloon was, the
12:42
front of where the old saloon was, the
12:42
front of where the old saloon was, the old Daget saloon, you could see a
12:43
old Daget saloon, you could see a
12:43
old Daget saloon, you could see a painting, an approximation of what the
12:45
painting, an approximation of what the
12:45
painting, an approximation of what the old stone hotel used to look like when
12:47
old stone hotel used to look like when
12:47
old stone hotel used to look like when it had that second story. According to
12:49
it had that second story. According to
12:49
it had that second story. According to this sign here, it was built in 1883.
12:51
this sign here, it was built in 1883.
12:51
this sign here, it was built in 1883. Remember, they laid down the track here
12:53
Remember, they laid down the track here
12:53
Remember, they laid down the track here in 1882. So, this is a very early
12:56
in 1882. So, this is a very early
12:56
in 1882. So, this is a very early prehistoric almost for Southern
12:58
prehistoric almost for Southern
12:58
prehistoric almost for Southern California structure indeed. According
12:59
California structure indeed. According
12:59

13:10
legendary figure who was sort of
13:10
legendary figure who was sort of responsible for the building of Scotty's
13:11
responsible for the building of Scotty's
13:12
responsible for the building of Scotty's castle in Death Valley. He was kind of a
13:14
castle in Death Valley. He was kind of a
13:14
castle in Death Valley. He was kind of a hu grifter, a little bit of a a fraud.
13:17
hu grifter, a little bit of a a fraud.
13:17
hu grifter, a little bit of a a fraud. So apparently he had a standing room
13:19
So apparently he had a standing room

So apparently he had a standing room here where he would try to sell shares
13:21
here where he would try to sell shares
13:21
here where he would try to sell shares in his very questionable mind supposedly
13:23
in his very questionable mind supposedly
13:23
in his very questionable mind supposedly near Dagot that nobody ever saw. And
13:25
near Dagot that nobody ever saw. And
13:25
near Dagot that nobody ever saw. And according to the sign here, Wallace
13:27
according to the sign here, Wallace
13:27
according to the sign here, Wallace Barry, Tom Mix, Wyatt Herp, John Mure,
13:29
Barry, Tom Mix, Wyatt Herp, John Mure,
13:29
Barry, Tom Mix, Wyatt Herp, John Mure, and even Lieutenant Governor John Daget
13:31
and even Lieutenant Governor John Daget
13:31
and even Lieutenant Governor John Daget actually stayed in the hotel. the wide
13:34
actually stayed in the hotel. the wide
13:34
actually stayed in the hotel. the wide herb thing makes sense. He'd travel back
13:36
herb thing makes sense. He'd travel back
13:36
herb thing makes sense. He'd travel back and forth all the time to uh various
13:39
and forth all the time to uh various
13:39
and forth all the time to uh various parts of the California desert,
13:41
parts of the California desert,
13:41
parts of the California desert, specifically the very eastern most parts
13:43
specifically the very eastern most parts
13:43
specifically the very eastern most parts of the California desert. So, it's
13:45
of the California desert. So, it's
13:45
of the California desert. So, it's entirely possible that not only did he
13:46
entirely possible that not only did he
13:46
entirely possible that not only did he come here by car, pass this hotel on
13:49
come here by car, pass this hotel on
13:49
come here by car, pass this hotel on this very road that we're standing in
13:51
this very road that we're standing in
13:51
this very road that we're standing in front of, it's possible he stopped here
13:52
front of, it's possible he stopped here
13:52
front of, it's possible he stopped here by train as well. So, that's pretty darn
13:54
by train as well. So, that's pretty darn
13:54
by train as well. So, that's pretty darn crazy, right? You don't have to go all
13:56
crazy, right? You don't have to go all
13:56
crazy, right? You don't have to go all the way to Tombstone, Arizona from
13:58
the way to Tombstone, Arizona from
13:58
the way to Tombstone, Arizona from Southern California to see a little herp
14:00

14:01
history. That's for sure. I mean, hey, after all, we were just talking about
14:03
after all, we were just talking about
14:03
after all, we were just talking about Morgan Herp when we stopped by his grave
14:05
Morgan Herp when we stopped by his grave
14:05
Morgan Herp when we stopped by his grave and I showed you Virgil Herp's house as

like it's undergoing a little bit of restoration, too. Or I hope so. It's
14:32
restoration, too. Or I hope so. It's

although no covering. Definitely seen

although no covering. Definitely seen better days. Let's hope it doesn't meet
14:39
better days. Let's hope it doesn't meet
14:39
better days. Let's hope it doesn't meet the same fate as the old saloon we could
14:42
the same fate as the old saloon we could
14:42
the same fate as the old saloon we could see in our photo. Yeah, look at that.

actual solid proof of that other than

actual solid proof of that other than early legends from back in the old

early legends from back in the old

kind of called the bucket of blood saloon, but I believe the original was

actually out in Hullbrook, Arizona along

actually out in Hullbrook, Arizona along Route 66. Yeah, the old saloon pool
15:53
Route 66. Yeah, the old saloon pool

Route 66. Yeah, the old saloon pool hall. The Dagot Saloon, I believe, was
15:55
hall. The Dagot Saloon, I believe, was
15:55
hall. The Dagot Saloon, I believe, was its actual name. I could just see
15:57
its actual name. I could just see

its actual name. I could just see absolutely no trace of that out here.
15:59
absolutely no trace of that out here.
15:59
absolutely no trace of that out here. Although, look at this yard. Has got

plenty of old wagons. There's a little

plenty of old wagons. There's a little like portable structure right here, a

16:08
between the barb wire here. You can see

look at this foundation or basement for

look at this foundation or basement for another building, not for the saloon,

another building, not for the saloon,

but for something else. It's a rule of thumb when you go see an old western
16:20
thumb when you go see an old western
16:20
thumb when you go see an old western town, you see a few scattered buildings.
16:22
town, you see a few scattered buildings.
16:22
town, you see a few scattered buildings. You got to populate them with your
16:23
You got to populate them with your
16:23
You got to populate them with your imagination because they were almost

imagination because they were almost
16:25
imagination because they were almost always filled in those spaces in
16:27
always filled in those spaces in
16:27
always filled in those spaces in between. Although Daget was never all
16:28
between. Although Daget was never all
16:28
between. Although Daget was never all that populous. And even today, it's sort
16:31
that populous. And even today, it's sort
16:31
that populous. And even today, it's sort of a rough and tumble place with a few
16:33
of a rough and tumble place with a few

of a rough and tumble place with a few hearty uh strange people who like to

live out here away from the bulk of society, carving out a life for

16:40
society, carving out a life for themselves out here in the desert. Yeah.
16:43
themselves out here in the desert. Yeah.
16:43
themselves out here in the desert. Yeah. So, the best guess I can see online is
16:46
So, the best guess I can see online is
16:46
So, the best guess I can see online is that the thistle store used to say
16:47
that the thistle store used to say
16:47
that the thistle store used to say general store and notions on the front.
16:49
general store and notions on the front.
16:49
general store and notions on the front. I don't know what the heck notions
16:50
I don't know what the heck notions
16:50
I don't know what the heck notions means. And then look at this. The old

guess been preserved apparently since 1977 by some kind of county museum
17:03
1977 by some kind of county museum
17:03
1977 by some kind of county museum association. You can see it's going to
17:04
association. You can see it's going to
17:04
association. You can see it's going to take a lot of time and money to uh
17:06
take a lot of time and money to uh
17:06
take a lot of time and money to uh restore it to its former glory, much
17:09
restore it to its former glory, much

restore it to its former glory, much less just maintain it as it is in sort
17:11
less just maintain it as it is in sort
17:11
less just maintain it as it is in sort of that uh arrested decay that we all
17:13
of that uh arrested decay that we all
17:13
of that uh arrested decay that we all love to see honestly along old Route 66.
17:16
love to see honestly along old Route 66.
17:16
love to see honestly along old Route 66. It'd be weird if it looked like a shiny

This the desert market next door I believe used to be called the Ryerson's

17:28
way back in the late 1800s just like the
17:28
way back in the late 1800s just like the Stone Hotel and the Thistle General

up there. Yeah. Rebuilt in 1908 in cement. So this time a little bit more
17:47
cement. So this time a little bit more
17:47
cement. So this time a little bit more fireproof. Ryersons is where the miners

putting around here. I mean, this is the

putting around here. I mean, this is the last gasp of the old, you know,
18:37
last gasp of the old, you know,
18:37
last gasp of the old, you know, horsedrawn wagon era out here in the
18:41
horsedrawn wagon era out here in the

horsedrawn wagon era out here in the desert. And look at this. Still open
18:42
desert. And look at this. Still open

18:44
today, the desert market. So, I'm going
18:44
today, the desert market. So, I'm going to come back here when we roll through
18:45
to come back here when we roll through
18:46
to come back here when we roll through on our next Route 66 trip and spend a
18:48
on our next Route 66 trip and spend a

is starting to get pretty low in the sky. So, we're going to look at one more
19:03
sky. So, we're going to look at one more
19:03
sky. So, we're going to look at one more building down here on Santa Fe Avenue,

19:50
is the Dagot garage. Noticing that
19:50
is the Dagot garage. Noticing that little railroad structure right in the
19:51
little railroad structure right in the
19:51

24:19
these days. There's a lot of history
24:19
these days. There's a lot of history here. You know, I'm surprised Daget
24:20
here. You know, I'm surprised Daget
24:20
here. You know, I'm surprised Daget hasn't become more of an important stop,
24:23
hasn't become more of an important stop,
24:23
hasn't become more of an important stop, not just for Route 66 travelers, but
24:25
not just for Route 66 travelers, but

not just for Route 66 travelers, but just for old west enthusiasts and things

like that. It definitely has its own little following. You can find a lot of
24:31
little following. You can find a lot of
24:31
little following. You can find a lot of information about Dagot online. Still, I
24:33
information about Dagot online. Still, I
24:33
information about Dagot online. Still, I got to tell you, more than threequarters
24:35
got to tell you, more than threequarters
24:36
got to tell you, more than threequarters of the people that I grew up with in
24:37
of the people that I grew up with in
24:37
of the people that I grew up with in Southern California, just two or three
24:39
Southern California, just two or three
24:39
Southern California, just two or three hours away. And yes, we're still
24:40
hours away. And yes, we're still
24:40
hours away. And yes, we're still standing in Southern California, but I
24:41
standing in Southern California, but I
24:41
standing in Southern California, but I mean like Orange County or Los Angeles,
24:43
mean like Orange County or Los Angeles,
24:43
mean like Orange County or Los Angeles, I would say 99% of them, if I said
24:45
I would say 99% of them, if I said
24:45
I would say 99% of them, if I said Dagot, would have no idea where the heck
24:47
Dagot, would have no idea where the heck
24:47
Dagot, would have no idea where the heck I was talking about, even though they
24:49
I was talking about, even though they
24:49
I was talking about, even though they have heard of Calico Ghost Town. And as
24:52
have heard of Calico Ghost Town. And as
24:52
have heard of Calico Ghost Town. And as I mentioned, we're only about 10 minutes
24:53
I mentioned, we're only about 10 minutes

I mentioned, we're only about 10 minutes away from Calico Ghost Town. And that
24:56
away from Calico Ghost Town. And that
24:56
away from Calico Ghost Town. And that means we better hurry up as the light is
24:58
means we better hurry up as the light is
24:58
means we better hurry up as the light is fading. The sun has gone down below the
25:00

25:04
lose the light altogether. And I still,
25:04
lose the light altogether. And I still, by the way, have like 4 hours to go. So,
25:06
by the way, have like 4 hours to go. So,
25:06
by the way, have like 4 hours to go. So, I probably got a 23 scoo. All right, get
25:10
I probably got a 23 scoo. All right, get
25:10
I probably got a 23 scoo. All right, get ready for this before I even show it to

ready for this before I even show it to you. Before we even go there, literally
25:15
you. Before we even go there, literally

keep in mind art is subjective and you may have a different opinion than me,
