It’s the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness! Disneyland’s Big Thunder Mountain has thrilled countless millions of guests in its many incarnations all over the world, but having spent my entire life growing up near Big Thunder Mountain in Anaheim, I thought since I’m in Utah, why not try to go see the real-life inspiration for the attraction! I was expecting to see Hoodoos, what I wasn’t expecting was to find so many other things along the way! From the “Mormon Emperor’s” house to Fred Flinstone’s car, the Desert Yosemite and a shop that REALLY Rocks, Bones of a strange beast, 100-year-old wedding cake, 72 year old bacon, and THOUSAND year old corn!
