Walt Disney's Boyhood Home Museum is Epic
Growing up in Anaheim, CA just a few hundred yards from Disneyland, we grew up in the metaphorical Shadow of Walt Disney. Attending Disney elementary school, going on Walt-related field trips and assemblies, and completing projects and book reports on the man himself, I learned a lot about his hometown and how it influenced his work. Everything from Main Street USA to "So dear to my heart," his love of trains and railroading, and even his love of Drawing all began here. Years ago, I visited Marceline Missouri for the first time and was blown away by the museum in town. This was a quick, "hey we have a little time we might be able to get there 30 minutes before the museum closes" trip, but we made it! And WOW how the museum has changed since the first time I saw it!
